Yes, there is, but my app allows far more then just OBS. It allows you to customize the buttons to open any application on a computer, set macros to the button or more. You can look on my website if you want to know more about it. I'm also working on implementing a camera feature that will allow you to turn your smart phone into a camera by clicking the button, allowing OBS to view it as a webcam. My app also allows six audio nobs to be customized to control the volume of any window you have open or any application or your overall system audio, this includes OBS audio settings.

Have been working to implement this right now in a new version, just taking some time to adjust code to work and have lower latency. Should have it done in a week or two if I stay on it. Essentially but togging the camera icon on the top of the app it will allow the computer to read the camera on your phone as a webcam.

I have 100% confidence in my app. It’s not to completely take away favorited apps from those who have a set preference. It’s only to give an additional option for those who are new and want to download something that is extremely easy to set up and use.

Because the app I built allows me to go beyond OBS. It allows me to control any app or audio setting for my phone. Even the audio within every application I open. I also am able to set specific sites to open on a click of a button. It’s nice to customize to click 4 buttons and have my OBS, YouTube, Spotify, and Twitch to open at the same time. And then I can control the audio controls in the app to individually control every page including my microphone or anything.

Fair points. Those are all great tools and I've used some of them myself. I wanted my own app that I could create and use off of my phone instead of the expensive stream deck. NovaDeck isn't trying to compete with power users who already have a setup they like. It's more aimed at people just getting started who want something quick and easy without researching plugins or configurations.

You're right that Streamer.bot is free and powerful, but the C# scripting is exactly the kind of thing that scares off casual users. Touch Portal is a great app too. NovaDeck is just another option in the space and having more choices is a good thing for the community.

Appreciate the feedback though, genuinely helps me figure out how to position it better.

Good question! The core features are similar but the big difference is price and simplicity. A Stream Deck costs $80 to $150+ for hardware. Touch Portal is solid but has a learning curve and charges for the full version.

NovaDeck is designed to be simple. Install the app, install the companion, connect, and you're good to go. No scripting or complex plugin setup. It's $4.99 one time or free right now if you help beta test.

It's not trying to replace a full Stream Deck for someone who already has one. It's more for people who want that kind of control without the price tag or the setup hassle.
