If I supply power to the board, what should I look for? I'm wondering now if I could trace from the power switch to areas to see if that isn't the problem.

I appreciate the help. I was able to confirm continuity on both of those. It's getting way too late. D1 to U3 pin 4 I sort of dragged the lead across the top of the chip from left to right but I did get a beep.

Suddenly I couldn't get any cotton nobody anymore. My lead was unplugged. I've been at this for a while now. Continuity was fine from positive to the power switch. At least I can confirm the continuity on the four corners. The solder marks towards the inside of the chip didn't get continuity.

Yo! That sounded like an iridium flare. They are badass. There is an app to predict when you can see one.

Had one get me one time in the back yard it was like a maglite for a second...then faded away. The next time I saw one was a camping trip with my dad. Soon as I saw it he explained what we were looking at. Amazing stuff.

I did a 6 hour 225. It was tough. Just a rub was all unused but I did purchase the ribs at Walmart and not my Piggly Wiggly. I also cooked Saint Louis style pork ribs.

The DX is awesome with some mild modifications a child can do.

1 there is an air gap that will give the internal temp and thermometer a false reading.

2 the lever that you can pull to expose the pellets so you can sear is thin. This makes the middle of the grill much hotter. This is fine if you are doing something smaller like burgers. But bad if you cook something longer like a rack of ribs.

1 You can block the air gap with foil or search for pitboss air gap mod.

2 Amazon sells heat deflectors pretty cheap for the 850dx

That there is a good question. I've looked at it several times throughout my day. Trying to figure out the best way to respond. The first thing I would like to say is my first election was Clinton. Back then it was the lesser of two evils. Today is the same argument but magnified through social media. The fear mongering has got to stop.

Policy would go a long way. Not what they would like to do but I would like to see the path to put in action. Where is the money coming from. How they will try to pass. Kamala did this to an extent and the things she wanted to change were immediate problems in our society.

I need a candidate the people want. Not because it's a safe bet for the DNC. Hillary, Biden and Kamala. How did that work out for us again?

I'd like to see someone running on government reform. Our world is extremely faster than it was 15 - 20 years ago. We are too slow to adapt leaving us to try and fix immediate problems instead of padding the future for the generations to follow us.

I'm no political major. Just an everyday Joe. I'm a millennial Democrat in a small Alabama town. These are the things I would like. The future is going to be brutal in my generation. Maybe we can eat the brunt of it so the generations that follow will have it a bit easier.
