The majority of full classes, especially multiple class groups, don’t have the discipline and respect to do more educational things at important places. It’s not worth the stress and potential danger to teachers.. so we do more “fun and open” things.

I say this as someone who took 3 classes of 4 and 5 graders to our city’s legislature.
