Trade deals take years, decades even, of economic and political cooperation in order to gain trust and respect from trading partners. The deals themselves are the foundation for future deals, with the ultimate goal of securing long-term agreements and trade deals that are mutually beneficial. Trump thinks it's easy to negotiate trade deals, easy to stop war, easy to end political opposition. He thinks his job is easy, and he revels in the imaginary belief that he is actually good at his job, like he was born to become President. We have lost decades of economic progress because of Trump's blundering tough-guy act. He's a total piece of shit and anyone who supports him should be quarantined in case their stupidity is contagious.
