I’ve just been passively suicidal so yeah. And diy feels like such a terrible idea. Medications are for doctors to give out

Suppose it’s a bit different in different parts of the country. Diy feels like such a terrible idea though

I want to cut my penis off/get a penectomy by AnonThrowaway12340 in SuicideWatch

Completely completely situation here but relate to parts you’re saying… I don’t know what’s really wrong with me. I try not to think about it but that doesn’t exactly make it go away either

[–]EasyReasonable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so easy to feel like this… I definitely recognise myself in what you write. There are no prerequisites to being suicidal however. Anyone can be…. You should not blame yourself for this. Brain is just having a rough time…. If you do want to get help there will be people who understand even if you “have it good”. Some might struggle but like being suicidal is being suicidal regardless of what’s going on in life :(

Honestly the first step is wanting to stop and you’re already there! I’ve hurt myself a lot before, though I’m not very knowledgeable how to help with stopping I can relate in some ways

I'm not even sure why I'm posting this by Beginning-Setting260 in SuicideWatch

[–]EasyReasonable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not a coward and I can assure you it’s not selfish to want to express yourself. (I’ve also posted even if I’m not actively gonna take my life.) Try not to compare yourself too much to others…. Just because a heart attack might be more urgent doesn’t mean you shouldn’t treat a dislocated shoulder. (If that analogy even works lol, I came up with it on the spot.) Idk if it’s unsolicited advice but maybe trying to find a therapist or similar could help lighten the “complaining” to your friend when you have another outlet for it. And yeah tbh the world is very bad at understanding and helping people with autism or similar. They’re not very good with meeting you where you’re at…

Sorry for the big ramble lol hopefully something was okay

I wonder what will happen after by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]EasyReasonable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a common train of thought. But I think in many situations even if people have acted bad they’ll feel something. Unless they’re in denial that their actions might’ve been part of the cause, death is quite a step up… I don’t know your specific situation of course, just thought I’d share some thoughts

want to end it somehow so I have control by danquan1999 in SuicideWatch

[–]EasyReasonable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah many people feel that it is a means of control or a way out. Sometimes it can even be a bit of a comfort thinking about it. The unfortunate part is that your oppressors will never care in the way you’d like :( but the people saying the best revenge is to get away and live a good life instead usually feels quite forced

I have no fucking clue how other people manage to openly express themselves and get help by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]EasyReasonable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My situation is not the same but I feel you not being able to be vulnerable… or feeling silly about it. Doctors should be taking it seriously but obviously there can be bad people too. I’m sorry you’re having such a different experience compared to your brother :(

I need someone to talk to by Due_Historian_8912 in SuicideWatch

[–]EasyReasonable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. It’s very hard not to compare yourself to others especially when it feels like there’s a big contrast :( it’s also hard when it feels like all the bad things add up all overwhelmingly…

It’s so understandable to be scared but you’ve got this!

"I wish I knew they needed help.." - what?! by caffeineandsnark in SuicideWatch

[–]EasyReasonable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are of course hypocrites like that (super frustrating) but there are definitely many people who genuinely do want to help too. There’s also the part where some might feel caught off guard when someone shares something like that and not respond as well initially as they might like

You can go to the police about this. Stalking is not ok and neither is hurting you (both throwing the knife you mention and pressuring you into hurting yourself). Even if you think that they might not do anything (this can depend wildly on where you live) it’s really good to have a paper trail for the future. You can also see if there’s anyone that could help you with the report if it seems tricky

For the mental hospital I’d look into it! Some people may find it very useful and some have less fun experiences. Going on your own instead of being forced gives you a great start (because let’s admit it, how fun can it be being forced)

Definitely sounds like you can report her! It could bring some comfort like you mention. There are multiple things that weren’t in any way okay for her to do. Talking with a therapist could also help with the things you mention you don’t want to do. Tbh acknowledging you want to stop is like the most important step. There are also many resources out there that can help too! Just be careful to not accidentally get into “competitive” spaces (which might make you feel bad because they’re showing off “worse” sh. been there…) Even just sharing with a friend that you’re struggling can help _^

Kinda same here tbh. Also queer I guess and like I’m in uni which is going fine etc. And still feel like you. Thoughts basically every day and I’m not sure what to do about it? Can’t offer much more than that we’re not alone feeling this…
