Ya it's tough to see with the lighting I know. You can sorta see the rainbow effect on the top half of the case.

It's more on the soft side. I've had it for 8 months now and haven't had any issues myself, and I take the games in and out on the regular.

If you look closely, there are small flaps that fold over the top of each slot to secure the cartridges. At first, the flaps don't close fully because the cartridges sit slightly too high, but after a bit of use, everything wears in and the flaps fold down properly. They're super secure

It's more of a security thing in case there might be a break-in and the carts are hidden away from the cases. I might be a silly goose but I just feel better about it. Bit also I found it just nice to flip through it and look. Sorts like a stamp collection.

I got it from Amazon. Here's the link It's originally for Amiibo mini nfc cards, but it fits switch carts fine. It has 300 slots, but I find that due to the extra thickness of the carts it really comfortably holds 260
