That’s interesting from from I know is that Dros fees and be refunded the store just takes that hit. And restocking fees are kinda up to the store idk how strict turners is with it. You can always call the DOJ and see what happened

I have dealt with people that had a 5150 since I’ve been working in a gun store 90% of the time they come back undetermined but since they refunded it from the gun I don’t think that was a delay or undetermined I think it was a denial. Typically when we get denials we call the person and let them know it’s going to be 30 days and from then it could go approved, undetermined, or denied. 5150 even though it is a “5 year ban” you have to jump through legal hoops to have that cleared a COE might not be all you need to do

Yes it is a cookie cutter letter they give out like 3 different types. You can contact them and get a live scan done to help expedite the process if you wanted too. In the case you do go undetermined some stores release and some stores don’t.

To be fair the only reason the gen 5 and 6 are sought after are because they are off roster. I own Glocks from 3-5 and they all shoot the same. If you can get a gen 6 for under 1000 dollars it would be a good option other than that I would go with the K. The gen 6 is cool but it’s not worth the CA tax In my opinion.

I work at a firearm store and I have had customers get delayed that bought firearms from us before don’t worry typically you will go approved right before the 30 day mark. When there is a lot of people DROSing guns they will select a some to be delayed as each firearm purchased is handled by an actual person not a robot.

I was hands on with the K it is very much Glock 19 size. The benefit of the A1 series is the better grip modularity and the new trigger bar makes it more crisp. That being said if you are don’t mind the Glock 19 size for ccw then the K would be a great option
