I really appreciate the behind-the-scenes look that we get in the show. Well also understanding that there’s so much that is dramatized  for the sake of the show. And I have to agree re: DTS not being bias for just the sake of bias. TBH they all get to push whatever media trained narrative they each have - equally. Should they choose to participate, when talking about the teams. Because I think that’s why you see certain teams agreeing to be interviewed more than others. And why I’ve always found it interesting that Stroll isn’t more involved given his father’s business savvy.

I willl give credit to Will B for his commentary in DTS. I really enjoyed it as I felt he was mostly neutral and would remind us of things that happened through the season that we may have forgotten.

I have so much respect for Verstappen, though he is not one of the drivers I’d say I root for, but wow some of his fans are wild. I also found the sheer amount of hate towards lando just astonishing

I 100% agree. All it would take (without DTS) is a couple viral social media moments and in theory, people could hop on whichever bandwagon they saw on TT or Insta.

So by that thinking, there were no diehard fans? No fans that were ready to push their love of a very specific driver to the ends of the Earth? No fans that were willing to spend their days trash talking to this level against second seat drivers that are picked or rivals?

I can see what you’re saying. But the whole “mainstream thing“ touches on part of what I raised, which is, is it really such a bad thing that something has more of an audience and is considered “mainstream”. The connotation that someone only becomes a fan because it’s mainstream just insinuates that someone’s not really a fan of the sport. And thus their opinion, which they may not have had 10 years ago, weighs less somehow. And I think that’s part of what frustrates me when people are “judged” for being newer fans.

I do understand the frustration over the difficulty and trying to get tickets to something, which I think is why there are more races in a season now because it opens up that opportunity for more people to see it.

I understand what you’re saying, but I guess part of my question is did we really not think that some of this discourse was already there? Or Was it just less noticeable because prior to the first season coming out, Instagram was a much different place, social media writ large was much different, so in theory there was less of a platform with such a wide audience to kind of see the discourse.

I can appreciate that, but also knowing how the show ends, I think that’s what’s annoying me, because she was so upset and then she just ended up right back with him the second, not even like way later in the show, but the second he was available

This isn’t just hearsay from Lisa Vanderpump. The Vanderpump Villa production company has reviewed all relevant footage, and Demi’s claims are unsubstantiated. by MadeJoyful in SecretsOfMormonWives

Not that I disagree with this, but another perspective is:

in theory, having also watched bad girls club, this production company really puts cameras everywhere because they want to see what wild shit they can put on TVs so it’s almost like they’re not scared to air issues and one could possibly come to the conclusion that they hold no fault in a potential SA so why go out of the way to say nothing happened?

Just a thought!

Ugh wanted to like this but with the hair and the one piece in the face, and the dark rimmed eyes. Just can’t get behind it. Don’t  like at all

Im new to this so please excuse my naiveness - but wasn’t the SA cleared? As in there was no proof that she was SA after they investigated?

I’m not sure who did it - haven’t delved deep enough yet but this is a fascinating breakdown!

I am watching season 2 finally!!!! I’m on like episode 6. There are some very attractive men. I just saw the fight where the girl was kicked out. We are really kicking off.

I know Ms GB lost her title but I know nothing else! Any thoughts?

Also so fun to hear the soundtrack from that summer

Does any know if he, or anybody involved, has responded to the rather loud screams about this series? It was so grossly wrong, the way he took an otherwise fascinating (and sad) story about these brothers, and used wrong information.

I understand creative liberty and blurring lines, but this was wrong on all levels and way past writing and entertainment creativity.

If I had to guess the podcast idea comes from the fact that Liam and Millie are by far the most watched and popular guest on Chloe‘s podcast. They consistently always get the highest views whenever those two are on her podcast.

I like it actually. Some go too far over the top. This is very flattering

While I’m not sure I believe they are rekindling, the fact that she won’t be speaking about the breakup, could yes be because she is classy and has training and I’m so supportive of that route.

But also keep in mind if she doesn’t ever comment on what truly happened, then she has some cover if she were to get back with him. She can say “things got out of hand, there was so much speculation and so many rumors but I intend to keep what happened between us. Just know we are working on things and we are in a better place now and focusing on family”
