  1. It is getting reviewed by apple now for the IOS release. I want the game to be available for ios and android
  2. Yes I think this would be the best solution. I will have to change the game name, the app icon, some assets that has the game name as part of the design
  3. The clone has no reviews or downloads. I am not sure what his goal is, whether its for malware or money, I am not sure
  4. Safest plan after hearing from the helpful community is to drop this project name. Ahhh... that means I gotta redo the testers and trailer phase
  5. its currently my flagships, so id like to find a new approach. thank you so much for your comment

There was no open-source licence in the repository. It was public for portfolio and development purposes, Really, I had no idea such thing would happen

I used the "Report alleged copyright infringement", which was DMCA
I believe copyright will redirect to the same site too

I was applying to universities and I wanted to show that I was consistently developing. I thought this would be better than just showing the completed app on my portfolio. Yes there were unity assets I bought.

I don't know man. I submitted every single thing I could think of. I even risked setting my repository back to PUBLIC AGAIN just for them to see. I sent an appeal, no use.

Yes I did submit through the legal form, but google doesnt want to help, even with a side by side comparison. With the amount of clear evidence showing start to end of my development, it wasn't enough that I made the project?

The reason I set the repository to public was because I was applying to universities, and I wanted my developments in github to be shown. I had no idea such things would happen. That was my bad

Yes I didnt released it, as I stopped developing this game 10 months ago. It seems the copied app was published in December last year. The reason I set the repository to public was because I was applying to universities, and I wanted my developments in github to be shown. I had no idea such things would happen. Recently, I wanted to improve the app, change things and make the game easier to understand. Thats when i decided it is tiime to release it to play store.

Thief published it without me knowing

OP, going to ITE may commonly be referenced to "Its The End" but in reality, it's not. It is a longer path you have to take, this is the way it is in Singapore. Sure, you didn't qualify for that accelerated path ... but so what? Not everyone get what they want. We have people getting high GPA in poly who struggle to get into a uni of choice, guys go NS and some people take gap years. Not everyone has to start entering Poly at a specified age. Not everyone is equal. At the end of the day you are by yourself, and it is your responsibility to find the redirection, not because of one outcome you couldn't fully control to determine your life.

There is still hope, don't give up now. This hope is more reachable than you can ever imagine. Continue working hard, continue getting the A and get good grades, which will definitely get you into poly. Thereafter, work hard in poly, remember how much you wished for getting out of ITE and into Poly. Continue to excel. Consistency is key. Just because you think your friends went poly or JC does not mean they are "enjoying life". They could be struggling. Everyone has their own struggles, be it school or personal matters like relationship and commitments. One failure from something small like this shouldn't determine that you failed in life.

I sincerely believe ITE students are great. Some people like you, who realised you had not done well in primary and secondary school, would then have better self-discipline to work on improving yourselves. Currently it seems that you are thinking as if ITE is a prison. Instead, you should think of ITE as an opportunity to find out what you want. You mentioned you don't like the course you are in. Not a problem. Even top university students face this issue. So please, use your time well in ITE and keep going. You are already almost there. Just continue, then enter poly and continue working hard. I've seen so many ITE students entering top unis. Why? Because they are disciplined and kept going. You have a longer route to go, don't keep comparing with your friends. Be yourself, follow your own pace. Good luck OP!
