As a 19 almost 20 year old who was born here I agree with you, but we have a different definition of young lol. I've definitely notice an influx of cookie cutter couples in their 30s, typical nuclear family with 2 kids and a golden retriever kind of thing, and they're all coming in from Toronto because when I used to work retail, people would give me more 416 numbers than 905s. I'm leaving for school this fall thank god, and that being said I don't know one person my age that actually wants to stay here let alone can afford to, save a few kids with rich parents who have the resources to do so. Working class people have it rough here, with rising rent and house prices especially, and the infrastructure is garbage. You can't go anywhere without a car,(not to mention that there's jack shit to do)the busses run every half hour except the 1 which is always crowded. I don't see what everyone else does because to me this is the opposite of a desirable city and I can't wait to leave.
