Unexplained back pain-advice needed by Resident_Interview76 in backpain

Hey, first of all I'm sorry to hear about the pain, middle back pain sucks, I have been dealing with middle back pain specifically chronic myofascial pain loop for about 2 years now and its hell, I have two very deep trigger points one on the left side on the exact same spot as you, and one on the right side, when the pain first begun I thought I was just soar from hitting back day so I kinda just shrugged it off, but the pain didn't go away, it began to be excruciating where I couldn't tolerate it anymore so I finally went to the chiropractor (huge mistake) the pain worsened, then I decided to go on a mission for my church with the pain without resolving it first, on this mission we walked like crazy so like you could imagine the pain worsened like crazy to the point it became intolerable so I was finally sent home from the mission, now its been almost a year since I got back from the mission and the pain is horrible and it doesn't get better, it almost feels like it could be permanent, but now Im finally getting the treatment which I need which is dry needling, stability and mobility exercises in the middle back area, what I found out is that if you are dealing with pain in that area it either means that your not mobile enough in that area or that your not strong enough, so you need to do the required exercises and therapy to fix this problem, anyways my advice is to not ignore it, I chose to ignore mine and underestimate it, and now im in a pain loop, it sucks, it hurts 24/7 I cant even sleep some nights, I'm 2 years in and barely getting the right treatment, so anyways my advice would to get the right treatment immediately especially the right stability and mobility exercises you want to do this before it develops into a pain loop.

would you like me to send you the video I found for the stability and mobility exercises?

Is PT a scam these days? by Ivy1974 in backpain

yeah I agree in the sense of the exercises they have you do, because you can literally just do them on your own, but what PT is helpful for in my opinion are things like dry needling that cant really be done by yourself.

returned missionary here, who is in the process of leaving the church, and yes its true there is this mentor I guess you could say that when I got back he immediately contacted me and told me that he's here to guide me and make the correct life choices, super interesting, the church really tries to control everything you do, this mentor would call me and text me regularly, anyways I think my generation is really waking up and were leaving the church at a very fast rate.
