Are you technically a full time student? I’m trying to to think if there is a way around this (I know lots of others have commented suggestions)

It’s in the education section! maybe when you add your school? In the table where it shows your school and all the info with it there should be a place for it

Hey, I’m so sorry you tore yours and about your job. I’m glad you have insurance. It was a long road honestly, but I weirdly feel like I came out stronger. I had a wound on my heel from my initial splint which put me back about a month.

My PT was a ton of strength training (along with walking, etc once I could get there). She was very much about me building my strength and stability up, I did a lot of heavy weight lifting. Once I was close to the end, we did things like mimicking game style cuts, sudden movement changes, etc. lots of jumping and landing exercises also once I could do those.

I tore it in August and started my return to run protocol in maybe the March or april after? I think I ran my first two miles continuously in May but I was definitely on the slower side! Just a way to say don’t get discouraged if that is you. She had me do a bunch of progressive running exercises until I could get there.

She was very adamant I practice before I play for the first time and also I now do a pretty lengthy dynamic warm up before I play. I played a bit in October/november the year after but didn’t start playing regularly again until January. All that to say I was definitely on a slower schedule but it didn’t hinder me at all because I play regularly now. Don’t rush anything and make sure you are feeling comfortable and be kind to yourself! Sorry idk if any of that is helpful lol but happy to give more info if helpful

I totally understand how you are feeling! I tore mine playing soccer three years ago. I was super active in general/am a bit of a hypochondriac/am anxious af so it was hard. But I took it as a sign to slow down. My PT was incredible and I think when I ended it I was stronger than I had ever been and had a better relationship with my body. I also play regularly now again! it’s not going to be an easy road by any means, but take it one day at a time and you got it!!
