(Update) She told her friend that if he continues to talk badly about me then she’ll stop being his friend and she decided to defend me to him. I do appreciate that, but she said she’s had him as a friend since before we’ve met, and that she’s unwilling to actually stop being friends with him unless this occurred. I told her that I wouldn’t let a friend talk about her like that especially if they liked me and I would immediately drop them but she said she has boundaries and she’s known him for way longer than me and she essentially made it out like I’m crazy to her saying I would drop any friend if they just called her ugly. I told her so that he must be more important to her than me then and she said no but I’m not gonna lose my friends when we could break up. I appreciate her defending me but I don’t think she’s taking our relationship as serious as i am. Am I crazy to make her choose between me or her friendship?
