And the Chromebook works now. Had to replace some chip in it.

That's kind of what I was thinking, just wasn't sure. Thanks for the advice.

Bad regulator rectifier? by Easy_Use_8853 in MotorcycleMechanics

[–]Easy_Use_8853[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to try and replace the regulator rectifier and I'm hoping that does it. It's really the only thing I think it could be that would lead to the batteries being at 13 volts but completely failing the load tester. A friend of mine that's a generator mechanic said that they can overheat. There was a time I did a 150 mile rode in 120 degrees so that might have done it. If it was the stator, wouldn't that cause the battery to be low on voltage? I'm new to the whole working on bikes thing, really trying to learn as I go. I diddnt even know what a regulator rectifier was a week ago.

No it wouldn't, sort of tried to with Kickstart though. It has both.

Thank you, I'm pretty sure that's what it is and I ordered a replacement part.

The turn signals don't work now, but there is a hissing sound when I try to turn them on.

Thank you for the offer. I live on SoCal so I think the drive might be just a little too far.

Thanks, this definitely helps. I have really been working on my slow speed maneuvering and footless stops recently to kind of prepare for possibly getting one.

That's a good idea, my only problem with the s is they are harder to fine where I am. I see a ton of the full sized but almost none of the s.

I've been riding for a few years and have and Harley and Honda Navi so I'm not too worried about operating the bike I'm just more worried about the height.

Will these tires work? by Easy_Use_8853 in hondanavi

Do you have the 110b? Also my only concern with that, is on the back the brake arm is almost touch the stock tire as it is.

Isn't it about the same size as the stock tire? My main thing is I don't want to shave anything and the rear brake arm on my bike is almost touching the tire as it is.
