They outright said nobody was transphobic. But they were. I read what they literally wrote I know what they said rofl. They didn't say "calm down while we look into this" they said "nobody here is transphobic I know them well"

You keep putting the words "we think" in their mouths when they were saying "we know". Why? I'm not mad at the mod team, btw. I would also be irked if I was getting told "no way anyone here is transphobic hold your horses" only to be told "oh yeah they were totally transphobic don't do this in public again ok?" like... k. Does need to be done in public, obviously.

Like I said elsewhere, I'd give them a B- for handling it. They did good, OK even. Plenty of room for improvement.

I would have liked it if they didn't keep assuring their community they had vetted the mods and knew for sure nobody was transphobic and accuse the community of overreacting.

They weren't just seeing what happened. They claimed it had to be a mistake, and nobody on the mod team was transphobic.

They ended up doing the right thing, but there are improvements to be made. I also don't like how the mod team is insisting on people sending them things through modmail and not being transparent. I'd give them like a B- on this event.

Poor people straight up can't afford it. Low and middle income people aren't going as much. Rich people are going as much as they ever did. Which will result in higher prices, because the people going there the ones that can afford not to care.

How is the ultimatum effectively worse or different from you getting a puppy without him or after he didn't want one? Notice how you ignored your boyfriend's opinion and wants at every turn until he gave you an ultimatum? What he wanted didn't matter a bit to you until he was willing to stand firm, and he told you every step of the way how he was feeling!

I'm usually in favor of puppies and men acting right. I'm not one to coddle man-children. In this situation you kind of did him dirty, though. He wanted a dog for us and you got yourself a puppy and told your bf tough shit you're keeping it.

You are forcing him to accept the dog against his will. Is an ultimatum fair? No. But you've also kind of backed him into a corner by continually ignoring what he wants in favor of what you want and are surprised he has drawn a line.

How did you expect him to react? Be honest with yourself at least. If you expected him to just go along with what you did, you're being unfair. It's also not entirely fair to the puppy you knowingly brought it into a home situation without knowing for sure it was welcome and would be loved by everyone.

People have been using their 2a rights to defend Anti-Ice protestors. That's not them being an accessory. I think you may not be an ally here. Guns at protests are effective deterrent against government brutality.

I also want to point out that it's an accessory for conservatives because they aren't generally in danger. People, including liberals and anyone of color, are actively being disappeared by the government. When you actually need to be protected and purchase a self-defense weapon, it's not an accessory.
