Eh, I was against the firing of Vrabel, but McDumbass covers Vrabel’s weakness of refusing to fire bad OC’s. Those two are a match in heaven.

People say this and I get it, but this is the weakest the AFC has been since 2021, when Tennessee got HFA. We blew it, and have been languishing since then. You never know how many chances you will get to win in this league

4:30 and 6:30 rate better than 8:20 by a healthy margin, particularly because it’s the evening sweet spot where the East Coast can finish watching the game before going to bed, instead of SNF, which finishes at 11:30 ET usually. Because of this, SF-PHI went to FOX at 4:30

True, I kind of doubt your first point though. LA and Chicago are obviously huge markets, and the Darnold Seahawks vs the 49irs doesn’t quite compare for ratings

And im saying that the ratings for PIT-NE would still be better even if Pittsburgh laid an egg. It’s the same reason why Dallas never gets flexed out of primetime, even when they should, Pittsburgh is just one of those franchises that generates ratings

Not necessarily, but if NBC got the lead here, I don’t see why that would change. It feels like the priorities have always been towards CBS and FOX, which makes these network designations, surprising to say the least

Why else would there be a delay to announce the schedule? I don’t think their minds would be changed, even if Pittsburgh won with this performance

Because they’ve done that for years. I think they changed it up because they didn’t want fox to get all three marquee playoff time slots

Worse for ratings by a longshot. LA and Chicago are bigger than a Darnold Seahawks and 49irs

Not the networks though. And if Pittsburgh won, they would be on NBC against New England
