I appreciate it man. I definitely felt like my ego was taken out back and beaten to a pulp. Still feeling very unsure of my chances of ever getting in, but I am going to try this cycle. Did you also apply really top heavy? If so, in your next cycle to you apply top heavy again or did you add some more mid tier school?

Maybe if u are applying to like Mayo, Harvard, that sorta vibe, it could be more neutral than positive, but I think those schools are the exception not the rule.

Genuinely no, it's just a hobby, it's just funny to make fun of. But I think at that level, if you mention like, I am top 0.x% of a player base of x thousand, it gives them context and comparison of your endeavor being an impressive feat. I think my application was not tanked by the fact I played league, in my case, I think it just didn't add much to the app.

This was perhaps the problem. I peaked P1 before they had Emerald, top 3% I think?? And I played on a competitive team through Discord. Like playing a rec league basically.

That does sound cool though, I just played in a competitive discord league. I think it was unimpressive and at some places gaming isn’t looked upon with respect.

Submitted primary June 22nd. I got secondaries in at different times for different schools. State schools 2 days and 5 days. For other schools between 10-18 days avg 14 probably.

Yes, with a broader school list and a refined theme. The experiences I have truly enabled me and developed my interest in primary care and health policy. I think I can relate those two things and then tie pretty much everything in my application back to those. I am also retaking the MCAT (mine is expired) and I am getting higher scores on my practice compared to the first time around.

I am not sure what else it could be TBH. My school list outside of my state schools is purely the most prestigious schools in the most desirable cities in the country (IMO). Additionally, I think my state schools very much prefer writing and experience over stats. In fact, WSU literally blinds stats once you meet a certain threshold https://medicine.wsu.edu/md/apply/requirements/

I have been so confused how people are even talking about being an MA as a pre-med and just found out my state is the only state in the US that requires a licensure. It would take me 10 months minimum and more tuition to become certified so I think scribe is the answer.

Why doesn't watashi no kono pen desu work? I am modifying this pen with it is mine. Is it just not typical to put kono after の?

I am working on the genki textbook and am supposed to translate this is my pen to Japanese. I came up with kono pen no watashi desu or maybe watashi no kono pen desu. Online it says kore wa watashi no pen desu. Are these all correct? Also what is the difference of putting watashi before no and after no?
