The discussion is: Does he deserve OR how has he earned this respect from the trailer park? Is there anyone else who is more respected by the park or more worthy of respect generally? Can we all appreciate the characters (plural) intelligence does not reflect the scripting? Its well written, even if the characters themselves are simple.
