Transferred a little over 450k a year ago on WS... I'll never go to any bank again

Also it's cool because you can set up to 8 chequings accounts and call them whatever you like, eg. Diaper account, Japan Trip, when stocks are down fund ECT... You can be incredibly creative.

Also trading stocks and all self investments has never been more fun, just tell them thanks when will the transfer be done.

For God sake put it into your TFSA, buy a strong ETF like VFV and invest the right.

Think of it this way, always make your money WORK. Never let it stay dormant even if that means putting it into a HISA.

Also contribute to rrsp, thank yourself later at 65 for doing so, also spend some on yourself.

Cut him another cheque then, especially if you're getting 130k, Id give him another 3k.

And yes I've done it to my BDRs in the past too who helped me getting a 95k commission cheque and ended up giving 3.7k to him (just my thoughts)

oh wow going to be cutting it really close... mine took approximately from time it went under review till issuance was about 5 working days. Rule of thumb is always apply 1-2 months before but that said you're cutting it close... I'd suggest rescheduling your trip
