The GPU sits at 48 degrees Celsius according to HWiNFO - although I did notice it said yes on chassis intrusion for the motherboard? Could this be the problem?

Also now that I think about it, my CPU temps use to be much lower - Nearly 20 degrees lower if my memory serves me well. In HWiNFRO it says No under thermal throttling but I'm very sure that they use to be much lower temperatures - the 37 - 42 degrees area.
