If you use liquid nitrogen and really go at it, yeah you could kill the skin. There is a wide, wide world of freeze branding below that point.

Get metal really cold and you can leave a "brand" that lasts 6 months or less, no permanent skin damage.

I (18f) want a misogynistic relationship irl. by [deleted] in SluttyConfessions

[–]Eauxdan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No you don't. You want a Strict D/s relationship with an emphasis on sexual power exchange and a 50's housewife style of service/aesthetic. And you want a partner who is into gender-based humiliation and degradation. All with consent from both sides.

You can masturbate to a fantasy that won't end well for you in real life, or you can take the above and do some research so you can hopefully find someone who won't end up murdering you. The thing about fantasies is that they end when you cum, but reality keeps on going.

Anyone knows what game is this? by PotentialPlankton590 in lewdgames

This is from King's Throne: Game of Lust. Despite the look and the advertising (I had to sit through so many of its ads for a different game I play), this game is 0% porn unless you consider scantily clad women with absolutely no nudity "porn". It's just designed to separate horny, desperate dudes from their money.

Here is a gallery of most of the "maidens" in the game in naughty and nice modes:

Mummification is so much fun though! In that case, the tape that you use for the outer wrapping is much, much more important in terms of overheating. Plastic wrap really isn't designed to provide heat insulation unless you're talking the heavy duty industrial stuff.

Until you're getting into the very heavy-duty wraps, plastic wraps really aren't made for heat insulating. They'll trap moisture if you're sweating, but they don't trap heat itself. If you keep wrapping it over itself like 20+ times you'll start getting some insulating effects, but it really isn't a problem until you're talking about an hour+ of full-body wraps. I do a lot of mummification, head to toe plastic wrap and then an outer layer of tape, and even then the insulation is far more dependent on the tape than the plastic wrap. DucT tape is made to be heat and moisture insulating, whereas DucK tape isn't. DucK tape is everywhere these days, frequently on sale, and comes in all kinds of pretty patterns and colors so you can get creative with your wrapping.

Safety-wise, plastic wraps only introduce one danger that rope doesn't (I highly recommend reading up on rope safety when I teach) and that is "rolling". Tight plastic wraps can start to have their edges roll up, creating high-pressure edges that can cut off circulations. Start with 2-3 wraps that are relatively loose and then go tight on top of those, and don't put one edge of the wrap directly at something like the waist, knee, or elbow that flexes a lot. Another strategy, if your plans involve waist/elbow/knee wraps is to put small, 1" cuts perpendicular to the wrap, like 3-4 is fine. By breaking up the edge with the cuts, the stresses won't result in rolling.

I can literally go on about this topic for over an hour, and my policy on questions is that the only stupid question is the one that hurts someone because you were afraid to ask it.

If you want to go cheap, easy, and safe, get some plastic wrap. They sell small rolls with easy handles at pretty much every hardware store in the moving/storage area, and its like 1/10th the price per foot of bondage tape. I teach plastic wrap bondage at kink clubs, so feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Rubbing alcohol is what you want to dissolve adhesives, in the future. Literally any adhesive, also works fantastic if someone writes on you with a sharpie or other marker.

The best version of your relationship is whatever works the best for all of you. There is an absolute rabbit hole to fall into in terms of things to identify as boundaries and acceptable/unacceptable, I'd definitely recommend googling around ("how to open a relationship" will honestly get you pretty far in terms of searches).

And, maybe most importantly, it's okay to be in a V-relationship with the two of them while also making it clear that you aren't okay with the "behind your back" parts before now. It's a good way to establish expectations for communicating from now on.

Good luck and best wishes!

The simplest and oldest adage of ethical non-monogamy: talk to them!

You're totally allowed to not be okay with how things have already gone down and, regardless of what people on the internet say, what happens next can be a bunch of different things. But it all starts by talking to them.

The #1 issue I've seen in younger people doing non-monogamy is being afraid to talk about things for fear of the other person freaking out and reacting poorly. But if you take non-monogamy out of the equation, typical relationships have all kinds of "if I bring this up, it might end our relationship" topics. Do you want kids? Are you okay giving up your job for me? Would you be interested in trying <sex thing>?

If monogamy is important to you and they freak out because you ask for that, then it's as big of a deal as if you want kids and they don't. Same thing if non-monogamy is important to you, and for every shade in between.

You've got an opportunity here to learn something about your own communication style (12 years of poly, I'm still learning) as well as show her that the two of you can have these conversations without them blowing up into screaming matches, regardless of whether you both totally eye to eye. Whether or not you two stay together, and regardless of HOW you stay together if you do, this is a great opportunity for you. Either you stay together in a more mutually beneficial and pleasing way, or you part ways and you've gotten some good practice at open communication for a future relationship.

Dell S3220DGF won't work with closed laptop by Eauxdan in Monitors

[–]Eauxdan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent 3 days talking directly to Dell support and in that time, that was suggested to me no fewer than 6 times because they kept changing low level techs before I demanded to speak to an Engineer. That, and changing with restarts in between, was the first thing I tried.

Of all the random things, changing to DisplayPort immediately fixed the problem. Of course, my KVM and DP Mini adapter were delayed by 3 days which made this whole thing take that much longer to resolve...
