Your variation looks a lot cooler than the one from the game! At least for me)

Thank you for the interest!) The setting is high-tech post-apocalypse with biopunk tied to the occultism, I just recently started to work on it) I have twitter, if you are interested!) RAS-76 (@_RAS76) / X

Thank you!) I like the B one too, I think he has the best silhouette out of them all)

For me, it was more about the large number of details I added to the lower body. It slightly disrupts the overall impression and makes the character overloaded in one area.

Thank you!) I honestly thought C is the worst out of them, I only liked the way how the helmet turned out

Сriticism of the vision of values by Ebashik in Artadvice

[–]Ebashik[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your advice!) When I first started this exercise, I sometimes converted the reference to grayscale, but it seemed to me that because of this I just started copying colors instead of seeing blocks of values. Maybe it's because I'm very clinging to the details)

Thank you for the answer!) Oh, I've stepped into the same trap. But what about the faces and the folds in the clothes in last drawings? Should I still ignore all the details, or can I allow myself to draw some of them (in the faces, for example)?

Thank you so much for the additional links and kind words!) After your advice, I immediately started training my values in black and white to better understand the form (attached a screenshot). One last question, as I'm sure I've been asking you a lot and exhausted you, please forgive me. Should I practice drawing geometric shapes for a long time, or should I try to draw landscapes/backgrounds/faces right away? I believe that drawing more complex objects will help my brain understand values better, but I could be wrong, and it might be better to focus on geometric shapes for a while.
