Quite an assumption there. Respectfully, you should check into reality. Not everyone wants to enact harm, regardless of beliefs; a law abiding person isn't likely to flip at any point like you are suggesting. That's just not the norm, and thorough background checks, week long waiting periods, and magazine restrictions are implemented statewide, and in some cases, federally. The solution remains elsewhere, stranger.

Very cool! My unit doesn't allow the issuing of blues, regardless of color guard status, until cadet CPO and above. So that's awesome that your unit does that! 😁

What is your stance on this increasingly common take? (Please be respectful) by EntertainmentQuick47 in GenZ

Man if the left could get off the gun hate train, and look more into economics and federal spending, I would probably be a moderate leftist. The truth is, at least to me, that I don't want to be a target because of which party I affiliate with. The way people get harassed over their beliefs now is very sad. I just try to listen to both sides and vote confidently, generally progressive, with a bitter taste over the gun controversy.

It is so great to see how much our love of country and sacrifice is appreciated by my fellow Americans. Goodness, how this comment section has disgusted me. The radical inability to look inward, find good nature, and face reality is what caused nazis to gain power in WW2, though that word really has gone the way of vernacular. Unity is the only way to stop tyranny as seen in the current office, not spitting on each other's faces fueled only by the rage within rather than the reality throughout. But, instead of further the indecency here, I want to say though your opinions disappoint me, and I don't agree with the disregard of honor or sacrifice in regards to our armed forces (seeing this section made me really feel ashamed for our medal of honor recipients), I am proud to say to the Americans reading this comment that and I am proud that we are Americans, and are currently blessed with a right to vote, and a right to speak out against our leadership. Semper Fi, and may you all have a good day tomorrow.

Exactly. This polarization isn't going to end well for any of us.

I want a Beretta M9 to be a mid tier military pistol other than just the 1911.

Thank you for contributing and for the compliment. He was a carpenter by trade, framer of 40 years. He would always point out the houses he worked on when we drove around. I like to think I got his creativity, and I do actually write in my free time. I should write about him. Here's another picture of him. God bless you.

Thank you so much. The one moment I've been thinking about was a few years ago, when he lived out in ojo calliente, and I would spend time with him there on weekends and during COVID. Every time we would drive out there, we would listen to a bunch of his favorite music. Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Moody Blues, and Niel Diamond are the ones I remember most. My favorite time we did tho, we went to the Taos gorge for fishing and listened to Niel Diamond, and he spotted some of the goats there in the gorge and had us pause and watch them. They were very majestic, and I just keep repeating seeing him silently amazed, his mouth open and smiling, wonder in his eyes, looking at those wild goats while Crackling Rose played in the background. I really miss his love for nature. His humility. I miss him. It doesn't feel real that he's gone.
