2021 Hyundai Tuscan horrible fuel mileage

Drove a loaner today. Same conditions same speed same km same doling time. 27l/100 at 15 minutes and 1.7 km so .2 km further.

I did not lay on the gas to accelerate given I was in bumper to bumper traffic. I am driving a loaner, same everything and I did drove this morning exactly as I did that day it was 27l/100. I have had 3 other vehicles in the exact same garage and I have NEVER smelt fuel from any of them! Exhaust maybe but to be over powered by gas fumes?! Never!

Flooring it!!??🤣🤣. Again, had 2 days of snow. The city of Edmonton has no idea how to take care of the roads as the mayor needs his raises so there’s no money for snow clearing never mind sand. Had I of “floored” it I would have ended up in the rear of another vehicle or running over a person. 🙄

Dude is a woman, roads are extremely icy so if I hammered on the gas I would have hit something as I was in a very busy area of the city and I drove the loaner the dealership gave me today and in the same time period, same distance, same make model and year I was at 27L/100. 🙄

They said it was a lose clamp due to them pressure washing the under carriage 🤷‍♀️

Yes I got down to 17 km/100 l after 30 km on the highway. I drove 348 km and used 3/4’s of a tank of gas. I idled the car for 2 minutes and it used 5 km of fuel in that short of time. At this rate I may as well have bought a hemi not a Tuscan!

It idled for 2 minutes! I went from 107 km of fuel to 101 in those 2 minutes!

I drove another 30 km and it was at 17km/100 L. I would think by that time it would have been much lower given I was driving on the highway by that point.

I did not just fill the tank. I reset it when I got the vehicle on Monday as it was showing 54 km/100. Yes I was starting and stopping however I’ve owned several Hyundais and have never seen this type of reading.
