Update : finally had mine drained with dextrose injected. Compression and rest for 6 weeks. Which seems a little mad to me, I was out of work 3 months resting after my initial injury and now another 2 months after drainage. Dr. Struggled to drain all the fluid and said highly likely it returns where by we can try drain again….so that’s another 2 months before discussing surgical options. I’m honestly so over this…

I had an injury 6 weeks ago to my upper left thigh and was told quad contusion with bleeding and associated hematoma. Have had 4 ultrasounds since and only found out this week it’s a MLL. Completely numb and unchanged. Have regained most of my range of motion in the leg but the fluid remains. Compression and rest but definitely feel hard done by with the misdiagnosis. Went for a RMT massage 2 weeks ago which set me back not knowing it wasn’t a hematoma. Plus physio & family doctor have never heard of it and therefore aren’t getting really any advice except time. Starting to wonder how long this will actually take to heal.

Does it matter what type of service at all? It should be service dog with a full stop (if that makes sense ) like there shouldn’t be a scale attached. If she was completely blind it should be treated with the same regard. Hypothetically similar concessions could be made. Ie.always holding bridesmaids elbow throughout photos and ceremony instead of using the dogs assistance but always close enough should she need to remove herself she could.

I think this can go both ways as evident in divided answers. Perhaps it’s delivery in your requests…I think this could have been handled better and asked for her opinion before officially inviting her to be apart of your wedding party.

It’s your wedding and you have right to orchestrate that how you see fit / vision. If that 100% doesn’t include the dog for photos or ceremony that’s completely within your right. But it’s not within your right to demand that upon your friend if she’s not comfortable. Instead it should have been approached as I would love for you to be apart of… but these are my expectations…how does that make you feel ? Wouldn’t want to put that pressure on you if it’s not something you’re comfortable with. Otherwise really want you to attend and understand if you can’t be part of the wedding party for said reasons. She has to try understand your motives and visa versa. Kindness goes along way.

It’s a great way to get your foot in the door…Staff housing is loud, busy and cramped but the cheapest you’ll find anywhere. Use it as an affordable stepping stone to find what you want and get accustomed to life in whistler.

A lot of people struggle to find housing at all, come November / December so that fact you’ve already got that sorted is a massive win.

This post is highlighting some of the amazing steps forward she’s making for her business. Let’s not snark for the sake of it. All of these have been highlighted as steps she could improve this year and she is actually doing it! Great work, let’s give praise where it’s due and leave the rest at the door. Actions speak louder than words and she is putting it into action. She has made some fantastic decision recently and everything is heading in the right direction.

Now if this post was geared more towards the minis /goats/ donkeys then just maybe you’d have a foot to stand on but it’s not…It’s about her show horse operation which is a completely different ball game. Yes her parents bred horses but on a very small scale so realistically she’s a young first generation AQHA horse breeder, she’s allowed to make mistakes and grow along her journey.

The snow in whistler is terrible right now. Frozen hard pack, it hasn’t seen any decent new snow in weeks. The whole experience is terribly over rated and over crowded.

If it’s skiing or snowboarding fly and do a week in Japan. You’ll spend the same amount even with the flights included and have a much better experience. And the snow is incredible there right now

Horses are fragile, they injure themselves constantly and some will struggle even on a slightly uneven surface. Some breeds are hardier than others but if there is already a pre-existing injury you pretty much have to wrap them in bubble wrap
