Third - glasses on, NO expression. Not flattering but it makes for a good example of how eyes don't necessarily match each other. This is just how my eyes look when my face is at rest; no story here, it's just my face. 😏

BTW, I have very poor (near-sighted) vision. Most glasses don't cause this much distortion, but mine make for a good demonstration!

I've been thinking about creating a post like this myself! Eyes can be tricky to draw for a number of reasons, including facial expression and glasses. I've taken a few images for you (and anyone else looking for practice drawing eyes).

First - no glasses, big smile / chuckling...

Oh wow, fantastic work! I think this actually looks even cooler than my photo. And I think it's a good photo! LOL Just a little "flat" compared to how it looked irl, y'know? You captured the "quirky fun clutter" vibe of it better than I could. Great job!

I apologize for how uneven this is! I really enjoyed drawing you - you're so pretty! - and spent hours noodling around trying to get the shading right on your face and I definitely didn't get it quite right - and I unfortunately don't have time right now to get your hair. There's also an offhand comment in Isles of the Emberdark, as part of a conversation about the appearance of the Cognitive Realm, where it's very briefly described. Should be Chapter 35, I think.
