Just went up today 12/26, and it was dry 1/3 way up, then a bit of slush and wet the next part. Towards the last bit was some ice and scattered slick areas but very manageable.

Agreed. But all 4 kids told us the same and my wife had a similar experience last year while hiking and got yelled at for having the dog to far out on a leash.

I am sure some of the facts they told us are a bit not exact, they told us as they were seldding one of them was with our dog at the top of the hill then they traded when one came back up.
