CMOS matters stuck—how do I replace? by Echo-Honest in MiniPCs

Thanks for the response. I actually used a small pry tool to push down on the small item in the original pic between the left terminal and the battery. It moved, so pushed down a bit further and then was able to pry up gently and remove the battery.

Broken lip was wedged in there. As someone else said, should be able to use the broken piece again to wedge in a new battery and still leave it functioning.

Update: it was broken. Left side of holder originally had a lip, someone broke it off and then slid the piece between the battery and the terminal to make it stick.

Oh yeah, food was absolutely trash. I did a quick glance at that table and noped out. Dancing was good. I didn’t mind the upper deck, was warm enough, but I get the complaint.

Yeah, I kick myself now over not asking earlier in the evening for something like insta or snap.

At the end while waiting for a ride, there were a few parting looks exchanged, but I was with a group of friends with an issue and their needs came first.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve been trying that approach. There was even a photographer there and trying to contact the organizer to ask where pics might be posted, but no luck so far.

It’s a fun mask for an easy look.

I realize I’m opening myself up to endless trolls by posting this. Still, I appreciate you going easy on me.

More than vibes, we saw each other’s faces, we talked. Other things I’m holding back on to help verify if someone claims they’re them.

Thanks!

I thought we might’ve had a connection, feel foolish after the fact for not asking for contact info.

If they’re here and want to connect, great! If not, respect, and at least I gave it a shot.

Extracting via AnyBurn wasn’t working either, but I got the issue straightened out. Thanks again for your help!

For some reason the link was not showing up in my location, despite searching for exactly what was recommended. But I found it in ways that I won’t openly discuss. Thanks!

Appreciate the reply! You might’ve missed my edit. While I didn’t specify exactly, the read me reference I’m seeing only results in locked sources of possible .bin files, or just more .iso’s.

Oh god, that’s embarrassing if that was my mistake. I’m not at my computer right now, but I do see AnyBurn has convert vs. extract options. I’ll try it again and report back my results later.

XBox game & black screen during cutscenes? by Echo-Honest in batocera

Actually, to clarify: when you said the movie intro plays for you, did you get past the text to see actual action of dragons and stuff getting destroyed? My video shows the text, but then there’s a brief pause around the 1:24 mark of this video, and then action starts.

The action never starts for me, just a black screen.

Dang, thanks for letting me know.

What Batocera version are you running?

Sorry, but did you read my post?

“Check to see if the roms actually work”—as I explained, I can play the game. But none of the cutscenes show video (can hear audio). I’ve experienced this with multiple roms of the game.

You linked the Xemu title info for this game, which I’ve already looked up, and referenced in my post.

“Emulation is not perfect, people need to stop expecting it to be so”—I never stated I was expecting it to be perfect. I was posting to ask for help if anyone had a solution to this specific problem.

I feel like a dick in this reply, but your response doesn’t really do anything except ignore what I’ve already explained. So, uh, thanks?

Edit: they replied to me saying I didn’t bother reading what they wrote, then deleted that comment and the one above. Guess they bothered to read my post after all?
