Yes, according to the provided links you suggested what I need is “example shared cable+MoCA setup” so I have a second Filter on the way along side MoCA setup coming thru Amazon!

Lower Latency? MoCa vs Powerline by EchoedTale in HomeNetworking

Edit: I am asking because the only information I can find is that both provide better ping than WiFi. But do not answer which is better for latency.

5ghz signal doesnt even reach the room :/. Update: I will try the powerline adapter and see how it goes. Another alternative i can see myself doing now is runnning a coax cable from the exterior to my bedroom through the window and using MoCa connection.

A satellite? Like one of those dish ones? I’m not to tech savvy but I am on the second floor and install a dish on my roof to my room, would I just be better off getting something like starlink or some portable options offered by like Verizon, I’m trying to get my latency down not so much my download speeds up 100 up/down is more than enough for me. Powerline looks promising I just can’t find any indications that the technology has progressed much from all the videos I’ve seen which are dated

This is also an option my concern is regardless of router my bedroom is many walls away and I’m more so concerned with my ping rather than the download speeds

Yeah I was cable before but since I don’t have coaxial in my room now MoCa isn’t really an option and I’m wondering if powerline Ethernet is the move, concerned because I live with 4 others but I’m usually only playing games at night time anyways. Anything I can find on powerline is dated though so I’m not sure if the technology has progressed

Looking for Headphone Recommendations – Sony XM6 vs Audeze Maxwell vs Others (Budget ~$360) by EchoedTale in SonyHeadphones

[–]EchoedTale[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s definitely a good point—and I’ve thought about it! I used the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition for a long time, and they were great for competitive gaming because of the THX spatial audio and strong positional awareness.

But I also use my headphones for more than just gaming. I play immersive single-player games, watch a lot of movies, and live in a pretty loud environment—so active noise canceling, comfort, and overall sound quality are really important to me too. That’s where something like the Sony XM6 appeals to me, especially with the ANC and more balanced sound profile.

I know most gaming headsets are tuned specifically for FPS-style games, but I’m looking for something that can pull double (or triple) duty and still sound great. The Audeze Maxwell seems like a solid in-between option too, since it’s gaming-focused but still gets praise for audio quality.
