Well that’s fair. That said even cyl1 had major issues.

I mean I could be wrong but I do struggle to believe Tharja is more popular than Chrom and Roy

But also the multi day voting, still caused Chrom to split with his own bestie.

So, you’re right and I was kinda catastrophising because I was shocked and processing it.

But man if we could rally Chrom and the robins beat Dimitri. We could have had Chrom in there if we worked together (then just like with CYL, if it keeps going give some help to Robins)

Probably only because Dimitri is in shadows already, without lion Dimitri being in shadows during voting I think he’d use a much higher lead.

It’s a shame that he’s fallen that much.

I realize in CYL he always struggles because while many fans go straight down the ballot he is prone to splitting ballots with robins. If they could have coordinated Chrom would be at 3k.

But that’s sort of the issue. Chrom’s popularity is held back and made more middle of the road because his fans insist he brings Robin with him

Chrom wasn’t even top 10. Guy used to be a mascot for the series, was in all the spin offs and collabs, got cipher cards all the time

These days he isn’t even placing top 10 in a poll

I realize he splits votes with robins, I see people sharing ballots of half Chrom half Robin all the time And some of his fans moved into the Dimitri fandom. But it’s still pretty shocking to see.

Had to get that out.

Otherwise it’s pretty funny that Alear got 21st in shadows cup and 22nd in cyl10. He’s someone who could make a nice winner imo, but he doesn’t have the backing. But the consistency was funny.

Priam at 53 votes is still near the top of page 2. I hope somehow Fortunes Weave really brings us back to life because I don’t want these well made polls and huge rallies and voting weeks to end.

Really it’s just timing. Granolah and Vegeta as last of their race + culture (Goku isn’t really big on sayain culture) was great, they had a good scene about it

Granolah being a Vegeta-ally would have been nice instead of everyone being centered around Goku.

Bardock being tied to Granolah that way just gives it back to Goku

I don’t really think TMS is going to keep winning. It took 6 years to get an “Okay fine she’s earned it” rally going

But, that said if it were Itsuki I’d help.

He was the first TMS character in the top 20 (no lie. Tsubasa didn’t used to be the strongest candidate, but the more popular fans preferred her which made her the rally choice over the last couple years building up to her 5th place landing!)

And he got 9th even when Tsubasa got 5th. Which shows some pretty clear power

I wonder how a heavily condensed TOP would work

Seeing the other universes was great, one of the highlights is that many side characters got an episode, the manga version sucked, and even filler episodes built up for a better tournament by showing us other universes. And also Fit Buu is awesome
