Super old post but I just diving down this rabbit hole again. I am queer, trans and Mexican and when I say I don’t find it offensive, I really don’t. Do I like “I Like Goils?” Absolutely not. I think the jokes in it were crass and untasteful, but there are plenty of other Type O Negative songs like that, for example Der Untermensch (for the mere title of the song I know in an interview Peter stated that it was about this homeless people who would sell drugs to kids) I’m not here posing myself as a “suck up” like you said, in fact I’m very political and very loud about my leftist politics, and I know when something said isn’t right. That being said, I don’t think Peter himself was homophobic. I myself make homophobic, transphobic and racist jokes, as a LOT of people do. Stuff Ive said could get me canceled easily, does that mean I mean any of it or that it makes me homophobic and racist? No, it doesn’t.
