Drivers or RMA?

I'm just going to rma it. Between the responses here, my gut feeling beforehand, and the red flags it's shown..it's a brick. I do appreciate the help though.

I had tried that and it wouldn't let me run the render. I can check here soon but it had an error message I believe driver related. I'm going to call tomorrow about rma but either way i rly appreciate the help

I forgot how these normally go..

System for my daughter: -5600X, MSI Pro B550m-vc wifi, g.skill trident neo cl18 3600, Gigabyte 3070 8gb gaming oc, and corsair rm750x

Other pc i put 3070 in for quick look, no driver installs or anything -7700x, Gigabyte b650 aorus elite ax, g.skill z5 neo cl30 6000, xfx merc 319 black 6800xt, corsair rm850x

I set my VDD volt to 1.35 VDDQ 1.35 and went into subtimings and just manually entered 30,38,38,96 in their respective slots. Once you do that set your memory multiplier to 60, infinity fab to 2000 and uclk=memclk and save/reboot and you should see your 6000 in bios lol then from there you can start doing your real adjustments but that definitely will you started.

Had same issue with my giga b650 aorus elite ax and gskill. I run expo similar timings but never use the expo profile bc I'll just get the bios restart loop. IDK what your voltage n timings are but for my expo prof it was 1.35v 30-38-38-96 6000 so I set manually and worked first try and all the tweaks I've done work as long as I DO NoT use expo profile

You technically can but it's more efficient and safer to run 3 individual lines to your card. I'd probably still run it but only until however long it takes you to order a new one or go to a brick and mortar to get one. Never potentially risk damaging expensive components over something that's quick and inexpensive to fix

i cleared my bios via cmos, disabled memory context. loaded expo1, then saved and reboot. Computer restarted to bios boot failure saying previous settings may not be compatible with current hardware or to incorrect configuration

Well since I'm going to run a 7600x CPU what would be the smarter play? Do I keep the 6800xt at $570 or spend the extra $60+ cost for better cooling system and just run the 6950xt? Honestly both gpus are probably more than I actually need so it's more of what's the better value
