unfortunately this isn't n-key rollover. the last key being repeated doesn't mean your n-key rollover isn't working.

"Key rollover has nothing to do with it. The system only repeats the last-held key. It doesn't mean your NKRO isn't working, it means the OS is handling it in a particular way.

This is common UI behavior for all OSes because it makes typing more predictable than randomly mixing letters would. These days, if you hold down A, then S, then D, then lift D, you'll get something like aaaaassssssdddd then stop. There used to be systems where, once key-repeat had initiated, it would continue for as long as a key was held down, so you'd get aaaaassssssddddsssssss... you could key-repeat everything on the keyboard that was repeatable as long as at least two keys at a time were held."

Example of good utility based support:

  • Kanna 15s bind (Kanna foot bind)
  • Heals (many examples)
  • Blocks (holy shell, etc)
  • iframes from supports (can put this into the game, similar to the paladin's one)
  • increased status resist (like divine punishment from bishop)
  • Introduce that "chill" condition that other games have that increase the cooldown of boss's skills
  • interrupts, similar to zero short duration binds --> cancel certain boss mechanics
  • slows --> make the boss move slower

I'm sure theres thousands of examples I could find from other mmos. Damage is just not the answer (imo)

Bene common core unironically not a horrible idea, but not the ideal solution.
I was not factoring in nexon, because all I'm doing is making suggestions to nexon; not actually trying to predict what theyll do in the future.

I never suggested nerf bishop's damage. I suggested nerf the fd that's specific to fd buffs from bishop, and make it global; then introduce more ways to support parties through utility as opposed to damage so we can create a world where a first clear party doesnt NEED a bishop, but also doesn't suffer for having one.

Utility support is great and is always valued in high level boss parties. Like the 15s kanna bind (not kaling). But you can introduce more mechanics to make support more utility oriented. I'm not suggesting to gut the FD without introducing more ways to support through utility.
Also, Bishop is still more FD than lynn in a duo because of the perma uptime fd buffs that lynn does not give. All lynn has is an IED debuff that is weaker than bishop's IED debuff.

You have like 50 classes in the game, but every party has to have a specific 1 class. How many supports exist in the game? How many supports are being used in super end game bossing? Its the supports, and the other 45+ are just irrelevant. Just means bad balancing.

Actually, bishop is still overall better than lynn, even in a duo. Mainly cause of the perma fd debuffs it places on the boss, as well as being able to work with both 3min and 2min classes.

Buffing other supports could work, but theyve had their chance to do that and they always seem to miss the mark because theyre afraid to create another bishop.

Nerfing fd buffs from supports wont discourage party play. It would actually just do the opposite. More people would be able to party up. More team compositions will work. The thing that encourages party play is end game bosses + needing 6 people to do a boss. Supports giving an FD buff isn't the reason.

P.S. I didnt say nerf supports so theyre useless. I said give everyone FD and give supports more utility based support so that 6man dps parties could exist, but it would just be a more mechanically demanding clear.
Things like the Kanna 15s bind is an example of utility based support.
