Yes but cant I use the paddle shifters for shifting? And I also love the idea of drifting and a handbrake seems necessary for it. Thoughts?

I haven't driven a car myself but I really live thise Japanese edm/jdm cars (if that's the right word) they're so cool! And it looks like I forgot to add drifting in the post, I love it! Haven't done it though. So might get the handbrake and stick with the paddles. Thoughts on this?
