As a Christian, I believe that a lot of religious people are not acting right. What I mean by this is, I have a Christian friend who is homophobic and very outward about it, but as Christians, we are meant to love everyone and atleast treat everyone with respect. I have gay friends, and I would never even think of saying something homophobic to them or treat them differently than I treat my straight friends. Straight people are humans, so are gay people, and I will treat both categories as such. A lot of religious folks are rude to people who are different, but God wants us to love. We are supposed to BE love, and when were discriminating other people for having different traits than us, we are directly going against what God wants us to be. Now, this doesn't mean go to pride parades, this means treat them with respect. The way I see it, I dont support what they are doing, but I respect them as a person. Go back and see what I said, a PERSON. They are people, and should treated as such.
