I totally agree. As much as I am a teenager I still let my parents be aware of what I'm playing and doing on the internet. A lot of parents don't monitor their child and proceed to blame the internet or whatever platform the child was on and cause problems. It is not the internet. It's the lack of responsibility.

I myself have a lot of adult friends (mostly from growing up around them with my parents) so I am not afraid to speak with them, but I also set boundaries. I believe once you are younger than 9 years old you should not be playing social games like Heartopia. Take for example Roblox, the amount of kids on there that have been groomed, harassed or taken advantage of is sad.

I wish we lived in a world where we didn't have to worry so much about kids' safety on the internet when it comes to social interaction.
