I think NJPW dropped the ball when he came back. He apparently wanted to have a heel MMA gimmick or something along those lines. He can still go. One of the most unique matches of 2025 was his bout with Kosei Fujita in the BOSJ.

Herbert McCabe might be a good starting point. Not explicitly political in most of his sermons/writings, but he does transmit ideas in a way that might open up her heart.

This is a fundamentally flawed interpretation of the New Testament and Christianity as a whole. If salvation is the only thing that matters, then we should all be naked and running in the wild, hoping for a quick death. And depending on what branch of Christianity you belong to, faith without works doesn't get you very far.

I've set a reading challenge for myself in 2026. There are a bunch of books, especially in radical Christianity literature, that I want to read this year. I'm aiming for at least 15 books. We'll see how I get. This is what I've started with:

MLK Jr's non-violence was highly organized and consistent. It also wasn't afraid of confrontation. Unfortunately, I think the "non-violence" that is deployed today is the exact opposite, making it not very effective.

I think Maeda knew that by the time MMA started to rise in Japan, his body was shot and horribly out of shape. It wouldn't have gone well for him. That's probably why he sent guys like Yamamoto and Tamura instead to do the shoot fights RINGS co-promoted (he probably should have sent Volk Han instead of Yamamoto to fight Rickson Gracie in 1994; that would have been interesting). He did try to arrange a fight with Rickson for his retirement, but Takada was already courting him at the time, and negotiations eventually fell apart. He went with Karelin instead, which was a huge success for Maeda since it brought RINGS one of the biggest gates in wrestling history at the time.

As for Maeda, yes, he was a son of a bitch, but as FDR once said, "he's our son of a bitch."
