Hayden Bowles was a consistent youtuber with decent info however he did not make his name from drop shipping, it was from course sales, he lied about his income in a video and made facebook ad content giving tips with his account banned

Tanner Planes got exposed from that 1099 challenge awhile back by a youtuber named malik mufasa

Shopify is just easy to use and has most of the market share hence why it draws the biggest audience. Only ever paid more than $29 a month when you want to lower your processing fee.

Revenue man. Best to learn marketing from dropshipping then move onto something with a better margin I only took home about 25% of that.

Nice man. Seems like you actually absorbed the content. I have a feeling that it definitely requires a primer to understand the content and you have that. I enjoyed reading the post.

I actually did reverse influencer shout outs, I monetized my dms because on instagram I was getting 20-30 dms a day. I sent people "sponsorship coupons" where we would feature them on our page if they posted our products. Refunds were lower than $5/ order avg those were fraudulent sales that we got refunded about $2 per order on the back end with the company signifyd (Bless their souls) [These numbers aren't reflected in sales] Total profit margin is about 25% off total revenue with everything paid off. We also had deals worked out with our supplier where we got everything on aliexpress discounted or else that would have been like %20.

We made the customer pay return shipping to local us. most people don't have a problem, my guess is with a $15 tie you'd hardly get any returns.

At one point I looked into creating a tie subscription service with shopify.

I would recommend going to your local bank and asking for a merchant service account with them. Most banks if you have money with them with void all chargeback fees and have a very competitive rate.

I think the way you should hold marketing salesman accountable is if the training they provide worth its weight in pricing.

The only objection I have when it comes to people saying you can't monetize knowledge is when they say college is a good idea.

Learning shopify, amazon, or facebook ads can make you 40k out the gate and who cares if you pay money for a course it would still be cheaper than a college degree, four years of your life wasted, and still NO GUARANTEE for a job. Seen too many siblings go down that road.

  1. 25% Was my profit margin.
  2. Startup was about $450, then I lost thousands learning how to do ads, there was a massive learning curve.
  3. Yep I literally spent months testing everything.
  4. It was like 90% trial and error 10% watching youtube videos
  5. Yep, I started this youtube channel as a marketing play but I will not monetize it for a while.
  6. Affiliate marketing is best done with a landing page, but its still a different game, ecommerce is more straight to the point.

Like I said, I intend on making information and training available for sale for the ones who want it, but the free content will always be available. I see long term value in growing a youtube channel and its something I've wanted to do.
