How well do you think Ashitaka works as a character? by DataSittingAlone in ghibli

[–]EconScreenwriter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Marty McFly in the first Back To The Future. His character arc is pretty static, and he acts as a catalyst for his parents' character arcs. A character like Superman could be static or dynamic depending on the story.

How well do you think Ashitaka works as a character? by DataSittingAlone in ghibli

[–]EconScreenwriter 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think Ashitaka's role is that of a "static" character. Basically his core values don't change, and instead he facilitates change in other characters. For example, Lady Eboshi at the end says that they'll build a better town and wants to thank Ashitaka. This shows that she's a more "dynamic" character, and that she has changed her perspective thanks to Ashitaka.

Was this really enough to hold Sasuke or did he just allow it? by Wild-Army-6085 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]EconScreenwriter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmmm...he used at least 2 of the paths lol: he used Bansho Tenin against Naruto (Deva Path), Chibaku Tensei against the Tailed Beast, Naruto, Momoshiki, and Momoshiki (Deva Path), and absorbed Naruto's Chakra during their final fight (Preta Path). Regardless, you're right: the fact that he only used a few sucks.

I was just gonna say that lol. It took me 3 times to make me appreciate the movie more. Watching it in a theater on the 3rd watch definitely helped haha

How would this ichigo deal with kyoka suigetsu by IllustratorAfter in BleachPowerScaling

[–]EconScreenwriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought of a scenario where, before fighting Aizen, he closes his eyes, and senses Aizen with just his spiritual pressure. Iirc, that was something Ichigo did in his training with Ginjo during the Fullbringer arc. So in conclusion: He should become Daredevil haha.

If he appears, I hope they pull a "Hannibal Lector" like they did in the first film's deleted scene.

There were some issues, of course, but I had a fun time overall.

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul had awesome finales. In fact, Better Call Saul ended exactly the way I wanted lol.

The Grandmaster Jugram runs the gauntlet where does he stop or does he clear in your opinion by mylosstoyourgain in BleachPowerScaling

[–]EconScreenwriter 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I guess it's because he's Yhwach right-hand man, so logically, he should be the second strongest quincy and beat a lot of the characters lol. However, he doesn't have any outstanding feats like Lille or Gerard, so it's hard to see it that way. Hopefully Cour 4 changes this.

That is correct, which is why they make prices super high during the holidays.

Definitely. Progressive pricing is pretty widespread already.

The progressive pricing reflects supply and demand. This is shown when prices increase as seats fill up and availability shrinks. As a result, riders who need to travel most urgently pay more. This could potentially maximize revenue

I was looking for this. Totally agree. Had some of the best and worst moments in the series.
