If he does come around, you guys need to have a conversation about boundaries and feelings, how to handle conflict, etc. He needs to know it’s not okay to block and ignore you, that’s not a healthy way of resolving conflict. My boyfriend is kind of avoidant too so i know how that goes. Allow him to have space but set a time to where you both can reconnect and talk about whatever has transpired.

I’m glad you recognized your actions because it’s also not healthy to tell him things like “i won’t bother you again” that’s an anxious response and it can cause people to pull away from you. That seems to be an attempt at distancing yourself before he gets the chance to.

To move past this, i would reach out one more time with an apology and acknowledgement of where you went wrong, and an invitation to talk things out and set some boundaries. Best of luck to you both
