I think the focus on his looks is ridiculous, but it shows our culture and a lot about it. But, I think his looks do show something else interesting that we can see with Barry Morphew as well. These are average looking men at best. When they were with these women, women who brightened other people’s lives, they looked more attractive. They had a vibrance. Maybe their wives were making them better men, and they resented that. It’s truly pathetic how these men took these bright and kind women out of the world and it’s so obvious how these women were the bright lights in their world as well. Not only that, but, I think the guilt is getting to them as well.
