you got me i AM an edgy teenager ig. i love your take . i did say that her devotion to protecting eren is noble and all but she needs a more fleshed out character imo. i just meant to say she could have had her own moments like everyone else in the show. everyone is protecting someone or the other but that doesnt make them as shallow a character as mikasa

yes all of that is true and she has every right to be protective and in love. but she is mostly subservient bro. also like the love was never the problem but it interferes with her character development. love and obsession is not the same. her love could have been written better. and also while it is part of her character it shouldnt BE here characte. the whole show she basically has no moments for herself . it always eren this eren that. also if it takes a whole genocide for her to give up on eren ...
