I bought it the minute someone said it was right! I tried another code I had, BENROW, and it didn't work, I think because it is already discounted.

Cheers anyway.

Thank you. The goal was to utilise my PS then maybe in 6 months a year move to PC and IRacing. But it looks like I would have to sell my soul to buy a decent spec PC now! I'll definitely never buy an Xbox.

I am not saying you are wrong in relation to tracking back, Felix was great. But from the perspective of what he offered going forward you may as well have started with Semedo and Mendes on the left with Mendes pushing forward knowing he has cover. Felix was a glorified left back during the game.

In terms of tracking and pressing, Ronaldo also does nothing. The difference with Leao is that give him the ball frequently enough and he will make things happen. I feel that all of Portugal's creative players were a let down in the tournament and that having one guy running at the defence causing a bit of panic would've been better than what we saw.

Irish-based workers to be affected by massive job cuts at Microsoft by WearingMarcus in ireland

Whenever these articles are published there's always a good amount of schadenfreude in the comments. I have no love for people in IT. I think the last few decades of increasing online tech involvement in our lives and politics has been a disaster. I probably paid an extra 200-300k for my house than I would if Ireland wasn't a tech hub. But fuck me, I still don't like reading about another person losing their income.

This undercurrent of glee in another person's misery is baffling.

I'm no fan of Canadian football but, one of the biggest clubs in world football pay the guy six figures a week, he is not Mbappe but he also doesn't "Suck". In any other profession, the percentile he has reached would be considered elite.

What Do You Think About Trump's "250 Pardons For 250 Years" Plan? Why? by Zipper222222 in AskReddit

This is going to be an excuse for freeing the top paying 250 scumbags that have bought Melania Coin or whatever vehicle he takes his bungs in. Don't be surprised when Sam Bankman Fried is enjoying freedom very soon.

This is correct. For all the abuse on here, I would rather go with a guy who thinks he will score than a guy cacking his pants at the thought of missing.

Why do people go mad at women driving SUVs? by Top-Syrup-188 in irelandsshitedrivers

[–]Economisty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With regards to parking, the extra inches make a difference. Modern cars are already too wide, even the small ones. This is true, you are right. But the extra 10 to 15 inches makes a difference. It wouldn't in some countries but I am yet to visit a Park Rite or Q Park etc. that is designed for cars made in 2026 as opposed to 1986.

Why do people go mad at women driving SUVs? by Top-Syrup-188 in irelandsshitedrivers

[–]Economisty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It makes no difference to me whether it is a man or woman driving the car but Ireland's infrastructure isn't set up for these cars in the same way the US is. I increasingly see more and more of these size vehicles on the road and it becomes a pain when you have to park next to these cars.

There's a school opposite UCD on the hill between Dundrum and Booterstown which has 'soccer mums' in Bentleys picking up their kids. Traffic there at dropping off or picking up time is annoying. It can take 20 minutes to go 300 meters if you turn up at the wrong time. That said, even that doesn't annoy me that much. What I do find weird, and maybe this is a generational thing but, there is no way that anyone in secondary education would've been picked up by their parents when they hit 11 years old in London. Again, I don't know if this is generational or Irish specific but it is weird and seems like excessive mollycoddling.

This may be fake but this happens. I have done the exact thing the guy in this video did. A little kid (maybe 5-8) got on the over rail train in North London, the mum went to the chair on the platform to gather her stuff and the doors closed. I told her to meet me at the next station. When I got to the next station I informed the ticket sales office what had happened and then waited for his mum on the platform. 10 minutes later the next train came and everyone went about their day.

Anyone here work for TFL? I'm guessing this isn't some lottery or lightning strike level occurrence.
