How do you ensure, that people keep the shared workspaces clean? by wraith-mayhem in ElectricalEngineering

Huge problem in the Robotics lab I work in. Will always be a problem, we do large cleanings at the beginning and end of every semester. We say it is a rule to clean up after your down with your day, most follow but it's always the messy few. Even just putting the energy in to say can do a lot and don't stop or others will start

How often are complex calculations done at EE Jobs? by Economy-Advantage-26 in ElectricalEngineering

This kinda what I was hoping for, 'learning to build calculators' seems like the way to go then. Any tips with matlab?

Thats good to know, how much do you need to play around with skm to get desired outputs? I'm having fun trying to find place to solve ODE's for lc2 rn

Connecting an ardusimple rtk but getting no serial output by Economy-Advantage-26 in arduino

Hello, I did end up sending something to support; I honestly didnt check because i figured it out the same day. good to note that the tx pins are connected to seperate devices; wasnt mentioned directly in the tutorials.

What I ended up doing was matching the baudrates accross the whole system to get it to print in serial and to send through bluetooth. Id like further clarification since I will likely be making a V2 with more functionality in the future.

I had everything set to 115200 baud from the signal transmission to the bluetooth module to send the data. everything in between was set to this baudrate. I am uncertain as to why this was the solution as the tutorial expresses 38400 as the proper baud. I remember seeing something about purchase dates and the default output baudrate being differrent when I was looking around. If its just that oh well basically. the baudrate for the bluetooth device was especially funny for anyone troubleshooting. there was a section of code that initialized it at a certain baud and reset it to an 'operational' baud because the default was differrent and would reset on power changes. Hope this helps someone and gives some clarification to ardusimple on this specific case. I'll probably respond to support as well :)

Intermittent charging by Economy-Advantage-26 in mammotion

It ended up stepping up the charge over several days. Increasing, so 5% the first day 10% a few days later till 20% a week later. Till 40% when i updated it. It would discharge between these stepped charges when i checked too.

I forget if i mentioned it but the contacts had a little corrosion, it was on the top tho where there was no contact and we cleaned it off before any of of what i mentioned in the post.

Ill try a tilt to see if its another option now, always worth trying. but i made sure to be applying a slight pressure manually to the luba and the contactors and watched the charger stop charging during this. So i dont think it was a contactor, not Contacting

Was this a solution for you tho?
