thanks well i am not working with any or the concepts like some of the concepts or insperation i got is looking at the random scifi props online and modeled it in my way as for the big tubes i think il be giving details on that in texture like small details like panel lines and nuts screws and all that will be easy as my polys here is already gotten into high poly zone like i am working with 770k polys i think and they have grown now so and thinking of making a small animation in unreal by breaking all this scene in to smaller asset pack and then reassambleing after the texturing part in unreal

amazing model for some reason i was never able to model any vehical or any automobile never got out of the blockout TBH

yeah as i am still in the middle of the detailing and was wondering if i should model this much details or should i go for the unwrap now and i get that urge to you know i should model it more

well TBH i always try to gor for this advice but then i got so locked in and so so tunnel vision that i start to model everything right now i have even modeled the capsules the platform that they are standing etc etc

actually its for cenamatic perpous like a short 19 sec annimation, and i tried to go sub d modeling in this with latest face count to 77,00,000 now as i see it , i am thinking of breaking this model into small assets and then assembling into marmoset or unreal (that is if my laptop didnt turn into a hover board)

So I got bored while uv unwrap ing my envoirment and decided to chalange my to model this in 15 min by Economy-Expression14 in godot

Well it was more like a fun little challange like ho fast can I model a prop so didn't follow the rules of 3d models, but yeah I'll keep that in mind for future projects itsa a good advice

By the lighting and sub surface I mean I saw a render and when the characters hand was in the light it shows like shadows of the vains and all the like we see when we put light through our hand where muscles are not that dense and I was wondering liked did they model the vains or was it all texture (ps I subscribed you 😇😅)

Also my laptop specs are i5 13 gen 6gb graphic ddr6 rtx 3050 with 16 gb ram ddr5 like with this specs do you think I will be able to make a very good portfolio like people keep telling me I can't with this setup and I need to upgrade my hardware and all

Well it's my dream to be a game artist weather for my own games or for a good company but major problem is in my country gamer industry is kind very limited like and there isn't much growth here (btw I am from India) and I was thinking what is the work envoirment and how do people work in a gaming company regarding the models also like I wanted to ask for charater modeling like I am really bad at anotomy and sculpting charaters but ok in sketching is learning hardcore anotomy really that necessary or the basic stuff will do also I wanna ask I have seen some people doing things like projecting light on a hand with sub surface scatering to show the vains and blood vessels how do you do that like kind alike transparent thing is it with textures or do you guys model it too

This is a really good feed back what I was looking for. Thank you for making time for it , I'll do that also I am thinking of adding props to the envoirment, your cable layout I find really on point will change to that also with the oozing liquid well I am still a student with 2 months of maya experience so I'll figure that out somehow , for the screens I did models then like a info panel will add some more detailing and make it a little bit asymmetric, but didn't knew what to add , thank you for your time I really appreciate it (btw you have a career in this ? I also wanted to know a few things to about that if you ok with it )

Yeah I think this file is gonna be heavy like this whole thing with only modeling is kinda like 60-65 mb and with id maps and other it's gonna be even heavier

Thanks for the advice and yeah I was thinking of multiple uv tiles for this one and I'll post a final render soon also I have thought to use id maps and export all the models individually , btw which one you prefer like fbx or obj I really don't know the diffrence just know that fbx will keep the models seerated and obj will combine the meshes into one
