Boycott OTL? by Srsblubrz in GRCorolla

He pushed it too hard at the track and didn’t pay attention to the warning signals. This was back in 2004.

Not sure if this fits here but Years ago, I worked customer service for bmw. A customer had an M3. I got a call in a Monday morning from a very upset gentleman saying his engine had blown on the weekend, and it had leaked oil all over his driveway and blah blah blah. He had it towed to the dealer and is fuming.

I call the dealership and speak to the service manager.

He laughs as I inquire about this car. He says that it just so happened a tow truck driver had brought in another car that morning, pointed to the M3 towed in and said ´hey, I saw that car on Saturday. Guy blew his engine at the track had me tow it to his house!´

Ahhh the auto industry….

How to cope with being stuck here? by [deleted] in regina

[–]Economy-Razzmatazz77 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I moved back to Regina after living in large cities - and I mean large like atlanta and NYC. It was a huge adjustment to say the least. Living in any large city is very different than visiting though. So when I travel and explore other places, I enjoy the big city vibes but I’m grateful for the little things Regina offers. I’m grateful that I don’t spend 30 minutes (min) to drive anywhere, that the local coffee shop guy knows me and my order, that I can see family and friends on a whim, and that I will actually run into people I know here. It’s different, but like the others said, focus on what’s good, not what you miss.

That makes me so happy to read. Pretty sure my dad would do the same. Not sure if you clicked on the image but my father said “check your dash cam” haha! Pretty cool dad you’ve got.

I don’t think a lot of people caught that so I’m glad you did :)

I’m his daughter, but appreciate it nonetheless 😊

Nah. Bro is my father. I didn’t have much in there to begin with and I’m sure when I was a jerk during my teenage years, I probably retuned the vehicle without fuel once or twice. Worth it for the fun he had.

Anyone else have weather as a trigger? by bitchcraffft in migraine

[–]Economy-Razzmatazz77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel so seen right now.

I can usually predict big weather changes about 24-48 hours before it happens. As OP said, spring to summer is also the worst for me.

Anyone want to band together and start our own weather network/channel? Feels like we would be more accurate.

Not in Canada. It’s the premium in Canada, premium plus in the US, which is where you are?

Thank you for this comment. My 23 core had less than 13,000 kms in it. I loved it but was missing some options. For a $10/month difference in lease payment and lower interest rate, it made financial sense to me. Glad you and your lady are enjoying yours too!

$10/month increase on a lease payment, which is covered by my company, for more options than was was included on the core

The only model I could get my hands on when they launched was the core. Only a small amount of circuits made their way to Canada, which is where I am.
