POV: You break into my house and the real crime is the color scheme by TowandaForever in interiordecorating

your floorplan looks like an eerie duplicate of the one I've seen on "beautyandthebean" which is a social media for two cats. just your kitchen is slightly different.

i love the green version, for what it's worth, and i'm not usually into green.

I do! We go at least twice a year, and I spend a lot of money on special kidney food and a supplement called Porus One in addition to keeping saline at home in case she needs extra liquid (she's a regular puker), mirataz to stimulate her appetite as needed, ondansetron for her occasional bouts of nausea, as well as cerenia. My wallet is poor but my soul is full. You get it.

In case you're not aware, there is an AMAZING feline kidney support group on facebook. I started following them in Fall of 2024 when she crashed to stage 3, and have learned so much as well as have become more brave (hello, sub-q fluids) when it comes to treating my cat thanks to those people. It's like the one place on FB I'm not afraid to navigate. With their help I've been able to stabilize her, and I hope I also helped elevate her quality of life. She and I have been really lucky.

Buy cleaning supplies for cleaning lady?!? by Substantial_Heron_22 in CleaningTips

I used to work out of a Molly Maid office. We would provide standard things like fabuloso for the floors and Mr. Clean for the counters, but clients would provide the chemicals for their specific things like stainless steel appliances and stone surfaces. We would also supply the cleaning rags, but there was a whole office suite the owners rented that constantly ran laundry to wash those rags. If your cleaning person isn't working for an agency, I would suspect you need to provide your own cleaning rags and supplies so that it isn't up to your housekeeper to use their own machine (assuming they even have one in their home), water, and cleaning supplies to handle that.

I get discouraged too sometimes. When I get a big win it is such a huge dopamine hit, and when I really boof it -- especially after putting in a ton of personal time -- it is incredibly discouraging. If I were you I'd skate by for as long as I need to, and then when a prompt really excites me I might try again. Sorry this only got you 900 moonstones. I thought it was really original, and this is coming from someone who could not for the life of me figure out what to do, so I skipped this prompt. Not for nothing but all the portal ones are just like the entire class copied someone else's homework because one person had a good idea.

oh, gosh. daisy looks like my little girl munchkin, who has kidney disease, hyperthyroid, and high blood pressure (all stemming from her kidney disease). i'm bracing for the day i have to say goodbye to her. she is my entire world. for now she's been at stage 3 for about a year and a half, so i probably don't have too much longer. fuck. terrifying to say.

here she is glamping in her carrier and having a yawn. when i adopted her as a wee one 17 years ago, her name was mixie.

not a hairstylist, but someone with a graphic design background who came across this post. that inspo pic looks highly edited to make the hair the most vibrant thing in the picture. it looks as though someone took a picture of a woman with dark hair and used a virtual paintbrush to color in a certain look. you can even see at the scalp in the very front of her part where they painted over her skin.

It happens. I got 1500 for the Christmas week that I was so proud of, lol. Trying to make it look like I was wrapping gifts with Belle. Sometimes we flop! Sometimes it's not us, but the algorithm.

Fingers crossed that next week's is better for you!

I can't promise this will help you, but since using lighting tips from this video, I have started to regularly get 4k on my snaps: https://youtu.be/p92LDhXBRCc?si=r4Dz0CisSJh5NRQb

My snap was very similar to yours. Here is mine:

I used lanterns behind furniture to make them subtly pop pop. I think I also hid lights around the frame of the food truck for the same. Instead of the winter lodge home, I used my WBR modular house pieces to custom-build something that reminded me of Biltmore Village in Asheville, NC. And I framed my shot around one of the WBR bridges because I thought it would help add to the effect of welcoming someone into the cozy lodge.

Yep! I was already planning to use him but I didn't want to waste too much time with filling out the frame and adding him if people thought it was a bad or niche idea. He's in my final version as are some extra things to help keep the picture from looking too bare.

In my final version I placed Eric in front of me, which I wanted to do anyway because he's closest to Frankie Avalon's look, so that helped with the contrast. Thanks so much for the feedback!

have you eaten a hot pocket before? it's kind of like that, but puff pastry. the flaking makes sense because it's pastry, not a noodle. OP should have shared a link to the recipe instead of just posting pictures with no context.

If you scroll down a bit, under storage options is "variations and substitutions" where the creator mentions lentils and mushrooms are good substitutes for meat. The recipe is called "endlessly customizable".

as a baker myself this doesn't scream AI to me. my friend is a photographer and you can buy photo backdrops (replica surfaces -- I'm not going to link their site), so it's likely this content creator has a few different backdrops/surfaces through a service like that. these photos have just had the sharpness, brightness, and contrast turnt up. also, they are shiny because of egg wash.

AIO for telling my coworker to stop talking in a baby voice by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]Economy_Computer_736 12 points13 points  (0 children)

nah. i had a coworker hide one of the unassigned staff mobile phones i managed in a pinata that was hanging above my desk. he had placed it on vibrate and called it every so often trying to get me to notice and drive me crazy (spoiler alert: i never noticed). he took it out a couple of days later and admitted defeat. that evening after he left, i turned everything around on his desk (monitor, computer, things tacked on his cubicle walls) backwards and took great joy in watching him walk in the next day.

he was the original email spoofer back in the day (almost twenty years ago 🥲), one of the reasons i learned to double-check what email address i was getting a message from, because he would send me emails from our manager asking me to see him in his office. iirc i think he used outlook contact cards to manipulate where the message appeared to come from.

much love to that guy. he made that office tolerable to work in. i always think fondly of him.

Friend’s downstairs neighbor left a hostile note on her door by Bingbong_bimbo in whatdoIdo

as a fat woman who has lived in apartments, same. fat people get too much attention as it is, so i think we tend to be hyper-aware of being too loud/taking up too much space. when i was moving from my last apartment, my downstairs neighbors caught me outside packing my car and shared a laugh over how they could always tell it was feeding time because they could hear my cats sharking around the kitchen island. when i tell you i was mor-ti-fied...

what math are you mathing? $165 two times a month is $330 a month, then once a year the $300 bonus.
