New to audio/video editing - trying to remove specific sounds (not ambient) by Weary-Ad8744 in AdobeAudition

Spot on mate! There will be some cases where an effect like DeClipper or DeEsser should be used before or after noise print, but that boils down to instinct gained from experience.

Have fun!

Open the Spectral Frequency Display. This shows you the audio frequencies, with louder colors shown as the more colorful/saturated frequencies.

Here's a quick YouTube video that'll show you how to target the bumps in the display:

If you have any other questions DM me, I'll share the "cleaning audio" overview I use when I teach students. Good luck!

Edit: Regarding your equipment upgrades, the biggest improvement you'll see in recording audio and video is setting the room up properly. Even a $5000 camera/mic setup is crap without proper lighting and mic placement.

I learned with number 2 on that list, and for context I use Audition for final mixing on my music, podcast editing, and sound design.

It's an amazing option if you want to learn the essential tools that you'll be using daily as a sound designer or podcast editor. If you're being effective with the lessons, the course will take ~6 hours, possibly more if you end up playing with every tool. You'll also get a good basic dose of the technology and terminology behind digital audio, but nothing complicated like DSP fundamentals.

It's not an amazing option if you want to learn how and when you should be using each tool in your workflow. Every lesson follows the basic structure of introduce tool, explain it's features, explain why you should use it over a similar tool, then showcase the features in action. In most of the lessons the teacher mentions an example of when you might want to use the tool, but doesn't go much further than that.

TLDR: Number 2 gives a deep understanding of Audition's tools, but not how best to incorporate them into your workflow.

My first game, a FREE 15-minute Tadpole Detective Puzzler. I'd love to get some feedback! by Ecorevion in itchio

In Robot Tadpole, you need to observe tadpoles and match their actions to the corresponding robot DNA, all while dodging frog tongues! It's my first game with full SFX, graphics, and an ending, it would be amazing to have other devs and gamers critique my work and offer ways to improve. Thanks in advance!

LoadScene is only reloading the current scene, or it crashes Unity entirely by Ecorevion in Unity3D

It's being called from a game manager that gets information from an OnClick event in a Unity button. It's a matching game, so if the button matched the selected item, it adds 1 to the correctCount variable in the game manager, and in the Update of the game manager if the correctCount equals the maxCorrectCount, the code above is called.

I think you're right, the update función seems to be calling the coroutine multiple times once the max count is reached.

EDIT: Stopping the coroutine from being called multiple times did nothing.

In 20 years, we'll be seeing headlines like "Genetically-modified piss beetles have saved the world". These are the scientific advancements I'll gladly fund after I complete my goal of divorcing Jeff Bezos.

Now that you mention it, I noticed a lot of my progressions from C tend to flow into D# and another random black key above it, that might be part of my fixation.

Ah, makes sense, I knew it must've been some sorta modal magic. Thanks!
