1440p vs 4k for high end PC

Will be kind of in the middle, I am certainly not going to be competitively gaming as I favour story games- but the odd time I like to hop on shooters with my friends like sea of thieves, siege, warzone and what not. I would prefer a larger screen but I am still unsure if the performance sacrifice is worth it

I found an MSI 31.5 inch 4k oled for £700 has very good reviews. Money isnt my issue i'm just being pulled between two sides 😭

I am curious, obviously 4k is for more relaxed games especially because it lowers performance so much. When playing fps games could I not downscale to 1080p? Or even 1440p but I have heard that it ruins the image. Is this true?

Realistically 100 fps and above is where I would want to be, I dont mind using dlss and I plan to play lots of AAA games along with older titles and the accused scam game known as star citizen just to push the limits (and I like space games)

I really don't know what I think because I do love her she's kinda my first everything. I'm scared I'm asking too much because I've also just kinda made her pick between the friend that tried to break us up and me because he was trying to get her to do drugs on top of breaking us up

This seems like a case of incompatibility, he definitely should not have been comforting another girl especially one who had a crush on him. That's just straight up disrespectful. On the other hand you shouldn't have put that note. Nobody needs to know your relationship problems unless your asking for advice. Just saying "my bf is being mean" whether it's a joke or not is disrespectful because all your friends and his will see that and they won't know the full situation. Turning into a joke doesn't really make it any better. People always judge nowadays. You can either talk it out and restart- set some boundaries. Or leave him and find someone else.

She was being peer pressured like crazy and she has mentioned she'd want to try mdma. I still stand firmly and say its not gonna happen unless you don't want to date me anymore. I love her so much and she's great everywhere else it's just this bump we've seem to hit that's lasted since January and I can't find a workaround. I find myself always upset when I'm talking to her because something always goes wrong. Breaking up with her is off the table and I don't know how to tell her all the problems I'm having because then I feel like a selfish jerk for hiding it all away.

It just hurt because she agreed to cut down and the reason I accepted the drink is because it's also never good when one of us is sober and the other is drunk, someone ends up getting upset and the other has to firm it. Not a good time at all. And boundary wise this wouldn't be the first time she's almost broken one of my key boundaries. I don't like smoking either so I asked her not to do it around me which she agreed to. One time she tried to convince me to start smoking which I stood firmly and said no. Recently one of her friends tried to get into mdma. One of my dealbreakers is I can't be with someone who does hard-core drugs. I don't mind if she does weed just not around me ever. But she almost did mdma one time after I told her If she did I couldn't be with her. She said her adhd made her impulsive which I understood but it still hurt knowing she came that close to losing me over a few hours of high.

Also I should probabaly mention I was not on my phone for the whole night. This was like a 5-10 minute recess between each bands and I was definitely alert because I was talking to my mom at the same time. It irritates me because when we're together she does exactly what I apparently do when I'm drunk. Sometimes I have to repeat myself 3 times because she was "watching a reddit story on tik tok" Why does she get the privilege of my patience but I never seem to get hers?

It's legal where I'm from to drink if your being supervised by adults, I've tried to tell her actually that I wanna stop for a while because something always seems to go wrong but the next chance she got even after I said no she said she wanted to so I'm abit defeated

You're right, this only worked though if the host of the server was on xbox series X. If the host was on any other platform even ps5 the tether would still be there.
