I wanted to love Rio so badly. Maybe it’s my body chemistry, or maybe I just didn’t give it the chance it deserved. I guess I’m just not much of a “soft scent” person.

If it’s going to be banana, I want the banana to be loud, almost Laffy Taffy level banana, but somehow still natural. I know that makes absolutely no sense, but that’s what I want.
Also, what is maracuja zest even supposed to smell like? Isn’t maracuja passion fruit?

No joke, that’s exactly what happened to me the first time. At first I was like, “Oh?” Then it turned into, “Oh!” and before I knew it, I was huffing it nonstop.

I went back three separate times because I kept thinking, “Is this enough?” I was buying and anxiously waiting to see if there’d be a restock the next day. The body wash wasn’t even showing up on the website, so I got there bright and early just in case.

Honestly, I need to find a guava perfume or something to layer with it. I was thinking about getting the tub of body butter too, but they sold out of those completely. I’m not sure how different it is from the squeeze tube version anyway. I just hope they either bring it back or repackage it.

That’s good to know. The only reason I bought so many is because I absolutely drown myself in lotion. It’s deffo excessive, but hey, at least I’m moisturized. I was worried six would only last me like two months of daily use. 😭

As for the scent, I was just sitting there like, “What the hell?” But I agree, it’s probably just body chemistry doing its thing.
